Terra Art

Genesis is a primitive portrayal of the beginning of creation as it was in the garden of Eden. Starting from the top right corner is a river in white flowing westward and splitting into two branches as one goes behind the yellow moon while the other one flows southward and exiting the canvas before reaching the middle of the canvas. Coiled over the two rivers is a large brown snake and a smaller snake rendered in raffia wiggling over the large snake and the two rivers. On the right end of the canvas is a standing bird overlapping the rising yellow sun that is embellished with raffia star points. A large yellow moon occupying a quarter of the canvas starting from the middle to the west is overlapped by the brown snake and two human figures, male and female, representing Adam and Eve. At the top left corner is a red monkey, followed by a cross, a hand fan and a leopard with red spots on its white body.
